加州今年大乾旱, high way上常常可以看到電子螢幕顯示 "SERIOUS DROUGHT, HELP TO SAVE WATER"

沒想到不下則已, 一下驚人! 這兩個禮拜雖然不是連續下, 可能都只下個一兩天, 但是下雨量很大, 開車連路都看不清楚, 我就忽然想到前陣子看到一篇文章說, 下雨天雨太大, 雨刷都來不及刷水, 看不到路的話, 可以戴墨鏡, 剛好有這次機會來試試, 結果戴上墨鏡的視野真的好好多!



好像是因為水的折射原理, 所以當你戴上墨鏡可以過濾雨水, 反而看得更清楚!

1. WEAR YOUR SUNGLASSES FOR GOOD VISION IN A DOWNPOUR

When you wear your shades in the rain, your visibility in front of your windshield will be much clearer, as if there is no rain.

Amazingly, you still see the drops on the windshield, but not the sheet of rain falling.

You can see where the rain bounces off the road.  It works to eliminate the “blindness” from passing semi’s spray.

Sunglasses are also useful in the rain even while driving at night.

2. NEVER USE YOUR CRUISE CONTROL WHEN THE PAVEMENT IS WET OR ICY

If the cruise control is on when your car begins to hydro-plane and your tires lose contact with the pavement, your car will accelerate to a higher rate of speed making you take off like an airplane.

NOTE: Some vehicles (like the Toyota Sienna Limited XLE) will not allow you to set the cruise control

第二點他還提到當路面濕滑的時候不可以開CRUISE CONTROL, 我也對車子不是太懂, 但是這樣做車輪會失去與道路的接觸, 然後會開始加速, 像是飛機起飛一樣快, 很想試試到底是什麼感覺, 不過這可不是開玩笑的, 大家還是當心開車
